When i was a kid, i wanted to read about guns and gangsters and excitement. And everything they picked out for you had that kind of bland antiseptic,. You got these kids. When you went into your music periods, ortetorium periods, there was so much beautiful music - george gerschwin and jerome kern. They could have turned you on to music, so it was a true pleasure, they didn't. It's also the the stuff they gave you in school, was no fun. It was first old antiseptic.
