The Class War in Europe

Spain gets this kickstart and so you have a liberal revolution the kick starts, liberal liberal revolutions in Latin America. And then there is this series of civil wars between conservative landed aristocrats organized around the Catholic church and land tenure to up and coming bourgeois. That fight is all the way through the 19th century, but at no point, it's fought to a draw every time. Capitalism does come but slowly cumbersomely, not as the social system just as this for an imposition of capitalist people invest in industries,. mostly in like Barcelona in Madrid nowhere else really. But it's sad on a low simmer.
