i'm amazed that you can visualize and debug what used to be black boxes. And so i wonder if we're going to head that way for most of the machine learning things. They should not have been black boxes yet, i think it has to be instrumentable in some way. But at the same time, you can never just get coky, i'm a long term optimist and a short term pessimist. I prefer to be wrong about that.
