The Kindness and Sturness of God

Brent: Paul asks the Gentiles to keep in mind the kindness and sternness of God. He says if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? Brent: For the Jewish people, this idea is a scandal. It's hard to accept. And even Paul says he doesn't understand it in its fullness. So again, Paul calls us inclusion of the Gentiles a mystery.
