It's possible we can see a possible future without reliance on fossil fuels which is great but the reason that's come about is because this very idealistic hope of rescuing humanity from climate disaster has been turned almost imperceptively into an enterprise of the global consumer capitalist system. If you look at some of the ways that the workers in these Asian factories are being exploited, they're working 14 days every day 12 hours without a break and not being paid very handsomely for this. I mean in terms of comparison with other local factories the pay is actually not bad but it's still very low.
