The Implications of the McCloud Judgment
The McCloud judgment, this is about age discrimination. What could the implications of that be? Quickly. So back in April 2015, if you were under the age of 50, at that point in time, your contributions to the what were known as legacy schemes ceased. From the first of April 2022, everyone contributing now is in the 2015 scheme. No one's going to be worse off from this. Everyone will either be better off or where they are at the moment. But at some point, people will have to make a decision.
