The Importance of Mobilization in Rehabilitation

A major thrombo and bollic event was more common in the group that got sedatives compared to the group that received opioids. The rate limiting step in this trial was getting consent. Dramatic improvement in return to independent functional status, significant reductions in delirium,. both ICU and hospital delirium. Ventilator three days significantly improved. A trend towards length of stay in the ICU improving. And most importantly, one and a half days before the patients got mobilized, one and  half days on the median.
