It's normal to feel lots of different things and conflicting emotions. There is a certain amount of relativism involved in the sense that obviously we all have different experiences. But there are always some people who are suffering more than us, but somehow when your situation changes,. we still suffer from it in some way - even though we feel we shouldn't. It's really complicated because that feeling of guilt, because the guilt really is an expression of your sense of responsibility towards the otherPeople who are suffering. And so you kind of compensate for your lack of agency by just feeling guilty or feeling bad, beating yourself up.
