The Importance of Studying Your Predecessors
I think comedians are very interesting about that where it seems like comedians are always very willing and able to talk about who came before them. I'm not necessarily sure it's a direct connection between the very different domains but why do you speak to the idea of studying your predecessors? For example Mozart his father had him copied music pieces by other composers as a way of learning the structure of making music compositions because so you know he was excelling in the more traditional forms of drawing natural scenes.
