The Importance of Political Understanding in FATF Country Evaluations
A year or so ago in a press interview you made a statement which I'm sure will follow you for the rest of your life. You observed that when it comes to the results of FATF country evaluations everyone is doing badly but some are doing less badly than others. From the face of it that's not a great state of affairs after all these years why do you think that is and what made you say that at the time? "I would put the UK in that basket" he says.
