The Causes of Atherosclerotic Plaques in Veins
In veins, the blood pressure is 6 over 0. In arteries, it's 130 over 70 or whatever. And so plaques tend to develop in the higher stress arteries. When one of these plaques breaks off, you can go into your brain and give you a stroke. That's the commonest cause of stroke. So, basically, you're looking at damage to the artery, blood clot forming patch forms, repair occurs,. artery drawn, blood clot drawn into the artery wall.
