Myths About Running Form and Running Biomechanics
"I have a bit of an issue with things like being taught to run softly," he says. "Running should be this kind of return of energy, almost like little mini like kind of pogo sticks or springs in the foot and the lower leg that return that energy" Running them becomes a very stop-start exercise 'that doesn't make use of that elastic recoil' He also believes people who are fearful of impact forces will always seek to get rid of it - which can cause injury.
