What Was Going on a Plane Like in 1971?
In europe, there was a comic. Bkabout a character named dan cooper. Some have speculated that our highjacker chose the alias dan cooper in honor of this character. That's speculation. But for whatever reason, our high jacker decided to call himself dan cooper. The medium astop the night of the high jacking, a reporter from the oregon journal phoned someone at the airport, got the name wrong and then it ended up in the united press international wire story. There's a little bit more to that, but we'll talk about that later.
