The Effects of Loneliness on the Brain
Lonely is this like subjective feeling of a gap between how you want those feel socially connected and how you perceive the degree to which you are actually socially connected. People with more friends tend to be less lonely but there are still a lot of people that still feel this gap in how they want to feel socially. So when you group people that way and then did brain imaging with them say a little bit about how that went.
