Is There Any Connection Between Verse and Haskell?

verse isn't a Haskell clone by any means. It's a language that Tim has been designing sort of in his head, actually, for about a decade. And it's Leonard and my job is to sort of reverse engineer verse out of Tim's head... But who knows about the glorious future? Maybe it'll be written in verse in the end.
