Theopnoustos and the Infallibility of Scripture

Biblical scholar John C. Poirier argues that the word describes a thing's divine effects, not its divine origin. In 2 Timothy 3, 16 would be about what Scripture does to us and the body of Christ, he says. Theopnoustos is being used in the active sense to refer to God breathing or life-giving; it isn't an infallible rule of faith as Protestants claim.
