The Importance of Democrat Politics in California
If Democrats want to experiment with UBI, California is absolutely the place to do it. Almost twice as many California voters are registered as Democrats versus Republicans. The Democratic Party holds veto proof super majorities in both houses of the California legislature. I predict it will blow up in their faces. But if it's to be tried at all, it should be tried at the state level.
