The B Specials and the Troubles
Journalist Tom mc cochran broke the story that british troops had arrived in londonery. He saw three members of the roloste constabulary making their way through a rioting crowd with rifles slung over their shoulders. It was the start of one of the british armies longe ever military operations. 30 years of bombs and bullets, killings by para military groups and by security forces later came euphemistically to be known as the troubles.
