Plant Flowering Is Adapted to the Environment

Plants in different latitudes have slightly different f l c proteins. A plant in sweden, for example, has a very stiff hand bak release. It takes much more cold, up to ten weeks, before the breaks on flowering will come off. In the uk, where it's milder, the hand break comes off much more easily after just four weeks of cold.
