The Adventures of Herman Goering
Herman Goering was born into a well-to-do Bavarian family. His father had been a cavalry officer in the army before becoming governor general of German colony of southwest Africa. As a young boy, Goering watched his mother become the mistress of his Jewish godfather, a man called Baron von Eppenstein. In post-war Germany, he's still a well-known public figure, but his martial values have slipped out of fashion. He insists on wearing his military regalia in day-to-day life, even in places where the army is less than popular.
