The Tree of Life

A muskrat gave his life to save a diver from the bottom of water. The deep divers were unable to reach him and he was left for dead. But when they opened it, there was a small handful of mud. Sky woman shared the gift in her hand, the branch of the tree of life. She scattered the seeds across the new layer of soil. And so the world became green with every kind of wild plant. Is our teacher of how the world works through an exchange of gifts.
