I used to think when I'd finished a race, like, oh no, everyone's going to look at my time and they're going to see how slow I ran. That was more what it was for me of trying to control everything I could possibly control. So now it is letting go of that and you are absolutely right that I think there's so much to be gained, especially with those easy runs. Maybe that's going to a group run and chatting to some slower runners who are just in awe of you because even if your nine minute pace might feel slow to them as 11, 12, 13 minute runners.
