Copez's Poetry - The White Cold Groove
The poet shows us a black clubber who can't fully lose himself in the music or the crowd of white faces, but is energized by the club's atmosphere. Copaz allows these contrasts to exist all at once and recreates an experience that's complex, ambiguous, confusing. It might seem strange to go to poetry to understand how black clubbers experience germany's technocene. But the intimacy of copa's poem helps us imagine the world differently and realize how limited any single viewpoint is.
