The Attacks by the Sea Peoples
The sea peoples were a result of the catastrophic events that had been taking place in the egean, greek mainland and further west. Accounts referring to the attacks by the sea peoples can be found coming from two different rulers some 25 years apart. Within 100 years of the waves of refugees flooding into the near east, egypt's power had diminished drastically.
