The Asian Community in Africa

The community built a small village near macindi port in western uganda. Jamie's parents were born, and life gradually got more comfortable. The asian community 80 thousand out of a population of ten million. They own nearly all the large shops and businesses. In the eventy years since britain brought them into east africa, theyhave managed, quite simply, to take over the economy of ugandan. It is an imperial legacy now admits asians as well as europeans. The africans are their caddies.
