The LEDs Are Mounted on Your Fingers
The LED lights are mounted on your fingers instead of say on your forehead. You can grab things with light shining directly on your work surface. If you have the second one in place, because you're usually using both hands, then what you have is any shadow caused by your fingertip is compensated by the other one on your other hand.
