The Effects of Porn on Sexual Abuse
There is still that slight taboo around talking about sex, isn't it? Totally. And people either don't watch porn or they watch it and they won't want to admit it. A study by the Children's Commissioner looked at 500 case files of sexual abuse between under-18s. About 50% of those cases refer to sexual violence that comes from pornography. So I found it a direct link between porn consumption and sexually troubling behaviour. But what we can say for sure is that these behaviours that first began in porn are starting to show up like choking and slapping.
