democracy was at its furthest extent in america. And that britain was maving, making moves towards democracy with the great reform act in the 18 thirties. In a small abolitionist move grew and grew, and felt that the civil war was in some way their victory. Women's role in that, and their declaration of their intention to get citizenship rights in voting, was also part of their contribution to the civil war cause. i think that made it an exceptionally interesting so i should hate to sa, if it's accurate enough.
