We were fraught with troubles I mean first of all we went as we were right before the pandemic hit and the first lockdown set so we were postponed for a long time. McKellen had to rehearse the whole fight scenes with an understudy on the very first day he did the aged 82 or something ludicrous but then it was my crazy idea to cast an eight year old as Hamlet I'm very proud of the film it's I think it's terrific and the show went very well people because of Ian's fame people came from all over to see it, that anyone can play anything in theater theater is fantasy it's part of the imagination.
