Inflation Reduction Act - What's Going on in the US?
The inflation reduction act gives Medicare a broader ability to negotiate with pharmaceutical firms as they provide drugs that the Medicare population will use. It does create a $35 a month price for insulin in 2023 and caps out of pocket drug costs to around an estimated $4,000 or less for Medicare participants in 2024.
