How to Write a Story That Makes Sense in a Book
Gavin and Kelly had said, this doesn't belong in the first book. So they said, write a different original and I wrote another original. And then I put it on the list of stories for this and they accepted it. It was just a matter of not fitting whatever weird thesis that book had and belonging better to this one. Even before we had the title, I knew what I was writing as the original for this one and I knew it would belong.
