Scientists have been using amary to look at diffusion changes with activation. The study is the first of its kind and could lead to new treatments for cancer, heart disease and other conditions. It was led by French physicist Jean-Michel Mertens who has spent 20 years working on the project. He says he's always holding out hope that high field imaging will reveal a similar effect.
