Is the Fed Fully Poirotized?

The Federal Reserve was created in 1913, largely to serve that function. The Fed uses a model based on Shiller and some other folks up at Yale. It's all the Fed model, obviously. And essentially we've tested the Fed model and it really doesn't work in terms of it certainly has no forecasting ability.
