The whole purpose of this verse is to show that the origin is not from the father and yet calvinism says that sovereign the sovereign decree is the origin of all things ultimately. It's not just God knowing it and permitting it calvinists even in their confessions say that's not what's happening. i don't know how you can consistently say something is not fromthe father but then say that the father sovereignly and unchangeably decreed it to come to pass before the foundation of the world that's a equals not a in my mind at least I don't know brian.
