The Aura and the Aura in Kabin
Kabin: I think he thought that this was replacing the tradition, aa traditional concept of the work of art. And i would add one further thing here. There is a suggestion in benjamin's essay on technical reproducibility that there is, in fact, an erratic ity to the disappearance of the aura. Kabin: It's not as though this is an event that happens at one point in time or in history, at once and for all. This is a sort of long, repettive process of what he calls the decline of the Aura.
