The Difference Between Leo and Geostationary Satellites

Geostationary orbit is 22,000 miles above the Earth. Launch costs are so low that you can cover the whole globe with just three satellites. But these satellites stay up there for a very long time, 15 plus years. With it being so far away, there's a lot of latency. And so you can't do things that require low latency, like video calls or gaming things.
