i think the fundamental problem behind why we're unable to mobilize resources in impactful ways is because people don't see the world for what it is. And so there actually are cases where if we focus on things that have a small impact, and those capture a lot of attention, then those can detract from the energy that we could put towards the solutions that actually drive much better outcomes over time. You should be thinking about what the 80 20 is within that huge problem, whether its climate change, poverty, et cetera. i'm sure i'm missing literally dozens of other factors, if not hundreds, that play a role in this idea of climate change.
