Shiamsara Negi was the first voter in India. He went on voting in every single election since 1951, he didn't miss a single one. But by this time he was really very overwhelmed with physical disabilities. His legs were immobile, his knees were aching, he was partly deaf and partly blind. Almost his last act was to cast his vote as the ballot box was brought to him.
