The leap of good engineering just to make zippers work better fundamentally was the keything. According to atlas obscura, this this same company, spoiler, they will become jor zipper manufacturer. They went from like, a few thousand products to 20 million basi as soon as people said, ok, now i like zippers. That was really just the key thing they needed to happen.
