Do You Have a Midline Stenotomy?
If you're not feeling it in that particular area, then the advice from us would be move your fingers around almost towards the axillary region. And if you're finding it there, that is abnormal. The presence of a midline stenotomy, suggestive of cardiac surgery, these aren't pertinent to much regurgitation. But in a cardiology station, these patients may well have that just as a as part of their presentation. You'd be silly to miss it and not present it to the examiners if you did see it.
