When you register your application with GitHub You give them what's called a callback URL. It just gives you the ability to To request access to those specific repose or to that person's application Yeah, and and then basically what all of this is doing is it's kind of putting some of these Permission based things in the hands of the service so GitHub has control over the permissions What what the application is able to see from GitHub? The user can use their own interface to say what do you approve this service of using or seeing at this given time? giving the user full control.
