Why You Shouldn't Be Making Up Job Titles
If employers are making up job titles and you find titles that relate to what you have, is there going to be a mismatch there when you're looking for the positions that you want? And would you inadvertently miss some jobs that might interest you if you're because employers have come up with these fanciful titles. That's why you want to use job boards in a different way. When you type in a job title and hit enter, you're going to get matches to that title. Alternatively, you can search for skills. Looking at skills can help you discover new career paths and new job titles that might work for you - even though it wasn't a traditional path as far as your title.
