People intuitively feel thike they do take in everythingif your eyes can see it and your ears can hear it. And if you have a memory, it's just that thing that happened,. It's a fully recorded thing that's stored inside your head. But i think the best way you can test your sort of immediate perceptual recall is to close your eyes and try to describe exactly what you just saw.
