The Effect of Groupthink on Beliefs
In the book, you talk about this phenomenon called groupthink. There's this notion that people arrive at irrational decisions out of a desire for social conformity when they identify with certain groups. You go through examples of these doomsday cults where they prophesy the end of the world and then that happens but still retain their beliefs. And I think we're going to talk about bias. It's a prominent thing that comes out in this book.
