Nietzsche's Critique of the Status Quo

Nietzsche's criticism of religion in terms of its failure to stave off nihilism is what he's talking about here. He raises the elitist fear of basically socialist and democratic revolutions, where all of those illusions that maintained the class system on which the Alexandrian society was based are not believed in anymore. The reason why this is relevant is because I think it's a deeply Alexandrian sentiment.
