The Consequence of a Shooting Foul
A shooting foul anywhere else on the court, it just gets the shooter two free throws. The consequence of a non-shooting foul is determined by how many fouls the entire team has at that point in the game. So basically you get to make up the points that you would have made had the shot gone in and you were not fouled. Now, what if a player gets fouled while shooting but the ball does go in? That's called an and one.
