A Factfulness in the Journalist's Eye

The cynical view that journalists are just interested in in clicks and eyeballs is not my sense of the journalist. And i think very often the activists are afraid of actually showing progress, because they are afraid that people will actually stop caring if they see that things are getting better. All these things have existed for a long time, you know, the idealism of journalism,. or the political gender of journalism, or the let's the story because it sells element journalis an those have been around for a very long time. The thing that has changed is, of course, speed an availability. That has transformed the business model of journalism with a lot of very difficult strains as a result of it.
