Before about 15 years ago, the stance of christianity on suicide was very simple. It was based on a conglomeration of the philosophy of saint augustine and saint thomas aquinas Suicide was wrong no matter what color you were,. black, white or yellow with jaundice. The idea that as mere humans we don't completely own our bodies. We're merely in possession of these bodies god owns. But the deeds in his name, they're his bodies.
