Social media is a critical marketing channel for anything consumer. If your product can't participate in that, it's a huge problem. And conversely, if your product is very well suited for that, it could be hugely helpful. I feel people are still really under rotate on how important things like youtube channels and sub retits are for marketing n distributing consumer software. The software needs to support that and be native to those mediums if it's going to have a good chance.
