Should I Be Doing More Roth?

Big Brown and his wife make around 100 to $120,000 a year. Last year we max out the 401k pre tax and Roth IRA's with extra money going into brokerage accounts. If I'm planning on retiring with Big Brown and receive a pension at 47, just about $4,000 a month. Should I be doing more Roth and my 401k or pre tax, bring down the adjusted gross income?
